Skid Row performed in Seattle this past Sunday night to a packed house at the El Corazon (promoted by Mike Thrasher Presents). They brought three local support bands along with them to get the crowd warmed up, Piston Ready, Jaded Mary and Zero Down. Each of the local bands were really good rock bands. Piston Ready and Zero Down each have a traditional rock sound while Jaded Mary has more of a Blues sound. The crowed enjoyed each of the bands in the line up leading up to the headlining show from Skid Row.
Not long before the tour it was announced that vocalist ZP Theart would be taking on Skid Row’s vocals for the tour. Many people complained that it wasn’t Sebastian Bach but quickly settled down as videos started surfacing of Skid Row with ZP fronting the band. His vocal style blends very well with the band and he’s an entertaining performer. Those that weren’t completely convinced before the show joined in with the rest that were there as the band performed hit after hit and blew them away.
The fans in the crowd cheered as each song came on and were also belting out the vocals with the band. The band in turn spent the evening performing and interacting with their fans. It was a very entertaining show. A good night music with a lot of nostalgia that pleased the masses.
Skid Row is still on tour with dates between now and November. Hit up their website to check their tour dates.
